The unique design enables volumetric flow rates exceeding 300mm^3/s when used with the Quad MFx4 extruder stack with 40watt heater due to efficient melt paths inside the heater block. A 60watt heater will be supplied. Limits may differ with Bowden/MMU/Carrot feeder.
This version of the hotend is experimental for bowden style installations. Proven with the Quad MFx Direct Drive assembly.
MISO hotends are a new generation Multi-In-Single-Out Hot-End system for all FDM/FFF 3D printers and incorporate aerospace and motorsport manufacturing technologies to create the internal filament paths, along with advanced machining to achieve their levels of performance.
Innovative design and manufacturing processes achieve an internal geometry that enables easy and efficient melting of polymer in high volume whilst minimizing the force loads on the extruder.
The cost of the hotend accounts not only for the RnD but also the manufacturing which involves a significant number of processes and machining setup.
Designed and manufactured in a way that also encourages a non laminar flow when two or more filaments are fed at different rates, increasing the blending/mixing action.
The MISO uses industry standard v6 style nozzles ranging from 0.2mm upto 4mm diameter layer heights up to 3mm with a 4mm nozzle.
Nozzles are easily and quickly changed with one hand. Compatible with all filaments except flexibles (although some of the stiffer ones may work when used in a bowden setup).

Buyers will be fully supported through Discord server and provided with PrusaSlicer and Cura profiles, and firmware configuration files to aid setup and deployment.
